Starting in 1987 in the pool industry, Matt has a wealth of knowledge on all aspects of the pool industry. His responsibilities with Johnson Pool and Spa include new pool and spa sales, remodel and renovation sales, service sales, human resources and staffing, and business expansion. He received his B. A. in small business management from Sonoma State University in 1994.
Tina's experience in the pool industry dates back to 1988. Her responsibilities with Johnson Pool and Spa include accounting, payroll, retail sales, and water analysis. Along with other members of the management team, she attends numerous trade shows and seminars each year in an effort to keep Johnson Pool and Spa at the leading edge of industry innovations. Her product mix in the store is second to none!
Aaron, a third generation pool and spa professional is carrying the torch lit by his grandfather Lupe Perezchica. Aaron joined the Johnson Pool and Spa team in 2003 and quickly rose to the position of Construction Manager. Aaron assists our new pool clients in fulfilling their dream of owning a pool. He has a great eye for design and by using Pool Studio design software and material samples, he makes the design process and enjoyable one. By attending manufacturer seminars and trade shows Aaron has accumulated a wealth of industry knowledge.
Assistant Construction Manager
Following in his brothers footsteps, Alex has joined the Johnson team. Graduating with his degree in Economics from UCSC in 2014, Alex is a true asset to the Construction Department. With over five years of pool building experience, his abilities in the field and behind the desk make him a vital part of the Construction team. He is responsible for customer relations and scheduling and our clients love his attention to detail throughout the project.
Assistant Service Manager
Starting with Johnson Pool and Spa in 2012, Chuck has worked his way to the position of Assistant Manager of the Service Department. Earning degrees in Architecture and Construction Management from SRJC has helped develop the skills necessary for his success. Also, with over ten years of retail experience at a large department store, Chuck’s customer service skills are unmatched. He was awarded several “Employee of the Month” awards and was also “Employee of the Year”! Our clients and we are very fortunate to have him as part of our team now.
Jason “Oggie” Ogston
Jason Ogston, better known as Oggie is our Service Manager. He has extensive experience in management and customer service being trained by such companies as Wells Fargo and Circuit City. After working in the field as a Service Technician for two years, he has worked his way to managing the entire department. Oggie’s experience in customer service and management has made him the go to person for all of our Service clients. He keeps his department working smoothly and showered with praise from our clients.
Matthew “Brady” Brady
Matt, simply known as Brady, joined the Johnson Pool and Spa team in 2011. He began his career in the pool industry as a Service Technician and was soon recognized for his excellent performance and attention to detail. After a short stint as our Dispatcher, he helped grow the repair team into a full fledged department. Under Brady's leadership the department continues to grow and provide our customers with the best customer and on time service in the industry.
Michael joined the Johnson Pool and Spa team in 2015 and started as a Service Tech. He has quickly advanced to our Warehouse Manager and keeps our inventory in perfect order and ready for delivery. His experience with a giant retailer has prepared him well for the challenges he faces. Every division counts on him to perform and we are so happy to have him in control!
As our newest manager, Tony heads up our Commercial Pool department. He has over 15 years of experience in the pool and spa industry with a keen knowledge of commercial pools. He joined our team over a year ago and has grown the department by leaps and bounds. His vast knowledge and easy approach has won the hearts of our existing and new commercial clients. Much of his previous experience came from owning and operating his own office furniture installation company. He has quickly become a customer and co-worker favorite!
